Slaves Do Not Own Firearms

It is all about freedom.

  • If this is ever attempted in the United States, I can only hope we’re not silent as I know I will not remain silent. I will not surrender anything, either. Certainly most owners of firearms feel the same way. Forcing the honest, law abiding American to become an outlaw is outrageous. Yet, better I become an outlaw to disobey an unconstitutional law, than to submit to further slavery and oppression.

“I have a very strict gun control policy: if there’s a gun around, I want to be in control of it.”
    – Clint Eastwood

“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.”
    – G. K. Chesterton

“A free people ought to be armed.”
    – George Washington

“The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
    – Thomas Jefferson

“To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them.”
    – George Mason

“A government resting on the minority is an aristocracy, not a Republic, and could not be safe with a numerical and physical force against it, without a standing army, an enslaved press and a disarmed populace.”
    – James Madison

“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.”
    – Richard Henry Lee

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…. The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun.”
    – Patrick Henry

“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are safe.”
    – Luke 11:21

“God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.”
    – Daniel Webster

“The problem is not the availability of guns, it is the availability of morons.”
    – Antonio Meloni

“Know guns, no crime. No guns, know crime.”
    – Ralph Lauretano

“You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or use any other word you think will work but I’ve found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much the universal language.”
    – Clint Smith

“One cannot legislate the maniacs off the street … these maniacs can only be shut down by an armed citizenry. Indeed bad things can happen in nations where the citizenry is armed, but not as bad as those which seem to be threatening our disarmed citizenry in this country at this time.”
    – Jeff Cooper

“The tragic history of civilian disarmament cries a warning against any systematic attempts to render innocent citizens ill-equipped to defend themselves from tyrant terrorists, despots or oppressive majorities,”
    – Daniel Schmutter

“One of the arguments that had been made against gun control was that an armed citizenry was the final bulwark against tyranny. My response had been that untrained, lightly-armed non-soldiers couldn’t prevail against a modern army. I had concluded that the qualitative difference in firepower was such that all of the previous rules of guerilla war no longer applied. Both Vietnam and Afghanistan demonstrated that wasn’t true. Repelling an armed invasion is not something that American citizens are likely to face, but the possibility of a despotic government coming to power is not wholly unthinkable. One of the sequellae of Vietnam was the rise of the Khmer Rouge and slaughter of perhaps a million Cambodian citizens. Those citizens, like the Jews in Germany or the Armenians in Turkey, were unarmed and thus utterly and completely defenseless against police and paramilitary. An armed minority was able to kill and terrorize unarmed victims with total impunity.”
    – Paul Hagar

“I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.”
    – General Douglas MacArthur

And finally, quite possibly my favorite…

“When you disarm the people, you commence to offend them and show that you distrust them either through cowardice or lack of confidence, and both of these opinions generate hatred.”
    – Niccolo Machiavelli

Only a criminal would want to take the guns away from the honest citizens. That’s why we have them. To protect ourselves from the criminals.

  • Ben, I love your collections of quotes!

Chris, this is a disgusting video. Thank you for posting it as a reminder. Viva la 2nd amendment!

  • lastmanstanding

    Good work Ben…

  • Ben

Feel free to cut and paste them.

    And have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Ladies & Gentleman,

Criminals will NEVER give up their guns and only criminals want you, as “Law Abiding” citizens to comply with giving up yours. If it wasn’t for the 2nd Amendment, there wouldn’t be ANY AMENDMENTS. NEVER, EVER give up your guns. If they were ever to say to turn them in or become a felon by not turning in your weapon on such and such day, then cast a vote for LIBERTY, everytime you pull the trigger……

    Happy Thanksgiving

Good luck w/ that in TX suckaz!

IF you are still in the cities when the roiters come..{and they will} are YOU gonna fight back? Will you try to defend your family and home? Yup, if you have cojones and a gun or two. But:

When the PTB declare martial law, [like they did after Katrina], and send the National Guard(wh r federal troops) around to “collect the citizens’ guns”…will you give up yer guns..or fight back?

They will send the NGs around w their Ma Deuces..and if they see the rioters’ bodies around yer house, it will be a signal to ‘fire up’ YOUR house. Bet on it!!
Oh, you say the NGs “wouldn’t DO that”!!BS..have YOU been IN the military in the last 30 years? They have been training in Iraq and Afgonistan just FOR that very secnario (MOUT Military Ops in Urban Terrain) IMHO..that is mostly why they’re over there. I mean it wern’t for OIL bks we got plenty in CONUS and it weren’t for “democracy”..must be for MOUT. heh ole FDR was so fond of saying: “In politics, IF it happens, WE planned it that way..”

When I was in the Marines, MOUT we’re my speciality.
Slow is fast… Fast is smooth.

I do have some suggestions for this contingency…
Number 1 is don’t be there in the first place.
Urban areas deprived of the constant inflow necessities will become inhabitable.
Coupled with the fact now that you are surrounded by millions of totally unprepared, desperate and narcissistic people.

Most American homes are indefensible against any group of individuals.
Sheetrock and 2x4s do nothing against firearms.
It works both ways so if they enter your home don’t be afraid the recon by fire.
You know your home better than anyone else so if you hear where they are, and you know they are bad lightem up.
Knowing what you are up against is important, home security cameras are a good idea with the monitors in the most defensible area of the house.
The basement is the only place to be but then you are cornered.
Calling in the Calvary is good to scare away bad guys.
Cops if the paradigm is functioning but neighbors with guns is needed when the dollar collapses.

Shotguns are best against a few bad guys but you are going to need more ammo to put up a good fight.
I have an m-4 carbine with loaded magazines ready.

As far as worrying about National Guard when the paradigm collapses they will not be risking their lives against their well armed neighbors when they are not paid, savings destroyed and family starving.

If slaves had been allowed to carry firearms, half our founding fathers wouldn’t have made it to adulthood. I’m laughing at the image of our good old rapist president Tom Jefferson, mouth gaping wide, the first time he ordered Sally Hemmings to his bedside to “comfort” him.

    • Silver Shield

      @bob l
That is true but does not denigrate the intellectual gift of the Constitution.
I often wonder how 10 generations from now will look at those that enable this global power structure that spreads its power through debt and death.
What is socially acceptable now will be viewed as evil and unconscious able and judged by people with trite comments in the future.

Pretty good video to wake folks up, with the exception of joining the NRA. They’ve been kowtowing to legislators for years. There are numerous other gun rights organizations out there these days who have adopted a zero reduction of firearms rights as their strict policy. The NRA’s leadership has been co-opted by Neo-Con Fascists.

  • MethanP

I concur. I just thought I’ld mention that in a comment on AR-15’s in Walmart how lucky they were as the local Walmarts here in NJ no longer carry gun cleaning supplies. I sarcasticly referred to the Peoples Republic of New Jersey and was “Blocked” for inapropriate content on a supposedly pro gun site. Am I wrong to be surprised?
