How and Why The Elite Destroyed 3 Tons of Silver Last Week

(This article has been edited since the 500 oz. per missile cannot be verified despite 2 emails into Raytheon and searching the Gooogleplex for answers. I still believe that the article still has merit and that there is a lot of silver in these weapons. The bulk of the silver is supposedly in the Silver Oxide batteries that are the best batteries to have in such a high tech piece of weapon. And if you have ever held a Monster Box of Silver Eagles, it is about the same size as a car battery.)

I wrote a month ago in an article called Silver Bullet and the Silver Shield, that silver is a vital commodity to our way of life. I stated that silver is a precious metal that is being trashed as an industrial metal. As a result, it is within years of becoming the first metal to become extinct according to the USGS. At some point the shortage is going to become so obvious, that people are going to rush to turn in their depreciating dollars for real silver money. That is just the monetary demand of silver, the industrial and strategic demand is another huge factor we should consider.

Corporations are going to secure stockpiles of this precious commodity so as not to cause any supply disruptions in their billion dollar a year operation. Take for example the $300+ billion Apple Computer. Apple Computer’s market cap rests upon the increased sales and production of computers. If every one of their $1,500 computers has a 1/10th of an ounce (some estimates are 1/2 ounce.) of silver in it, they will spare no expense to secure silver when it becomes hard to get.

The strategic demand is even more daunting. It has been about a week since the Empire attacked the Galactic Rebels in the desert world of Libya. Reports have already surfaced about the obscene costs of this “Kinetic Military Action.” In less than a week, this war has already cost Americans $600 million dollars.  That is about $100 million a day  for this “Action.” It is far cry from the estimated daily price tag of the $300 million a day Afghan war or the $700 million a day Iraq war.

Almost half of the cost ($269 million) has come from the 191 Tomahawk missiles that have been launched into Libya. It has been claimed that each Tomahawk has more than a monster box (500 oz.) of silver inside of each missile.  (This number is speculation and cannot be verified.) Pure silver has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all metals. When there is a $1.5 million dollar missile is being produced to secure more oil for the Empire, the Elite will use only the best materials to ensure the best performing results.

So far the US has thrown 3 tons of silver at Libya just with the Tomahawk missiles. That silver is gone forever as it is blown to a million pieces. (Never mind the poor bastards at the at the other end of missile’s target.) If we added the 191 Tomahawks from this “Kinetic Military Action” to the 288 from Gulf War 1, the 325 used in Sebia and Iraq in 98, and the 725 launched in Gulf War 2 that is just over 800,000 ounces of silver or 25 tons of silver gone forever.

That is just from the Tomahawk missile program. What about all of the other weapons programs in the Empire’s trillion dollar a year arsenal? Every smart bomb, tank, helicopter, fighter jet, bomber, navy subs, aircraft carriers and sophisticated electronic computer has a certain amount of silver in it. As the world starts to become a more dangerous place for the Empire, more and more silver will be destroyed forever.

One aspect of this waste that most people don’t get, is that all of this waste is done purposefully by the Elite. War is the greatest way to destroy the productive energy of humanity. The Elite want to keep us in a perpetual state of war for many reasons.

1. They want to keep their societies in fear so that people passively accept more and more government intrusion into their lives through either taxes or regulations. Look at what Americans did after 9/11 with the Patriot Act and huge war deficits.

2. By having an “enemy” for the population to vent their anger and frustration on, keeps people from looking at the real cause of their problems, the Elite that control their world. I have predicted that China will be blamed for our collapsing dollar and the Elite will try to make war against the Chinese. This will be done even though it is obvious that the Elitist banksters are the ones that have gutted America for their own personal profit and power.

3. The Elite want to destroy human labor and capital. The Elite know that if people become wealthy and debt free, they would seek to challenge the Elite’s power. Through “war”, taxes are raised and debts created on the backs of the citizens. All of the capital created by the citizens, is literally blown up overseas as it destroys the “enemy’s” infrastructure and capital. This purposeful waste of labor and capital is a heavy burden on our society and is one that is not creating a better world for us.

4. The Elite also get to line their pockets with your labor and capital. They get insider deals and contracts to build these weapons of war, support the Empire’s actions, or rebuild what we destroyed. As a result more and more power and profits are shifted to the Elite from the struggling middle class.

These combined wars cost $1 billion dollars a day and that does not include the rest of the Military Industrial Complex or the rest of the government. How much better would the world be if we did not destroy human labor and capital? This game will continue until the dollar collapses. The best way to counter this trend and protect yourself is to save your labor and capital by buying silver instead of blowing it up in the deserts of Libya.

Where do you get the info on the content of silver in each tomahawk from?

  • colin

    buy silver save a life
    buy silver crash banksters

  • Tommy

This will be the Empires justification for confiscating all our physical silver. When they go to war with China, they will need it “For defensive purposes” HA.
I wouldn’t put it past the slimy, sleezy elitist A@#holes. I think mine just got stolen… Stolen, yeah, yeah that’s the ticket.

  • doug

interesting to say the least…how a super power with a ballooning deficit can give Libya a silver shower as a good will token with the message of smarten up,remember Iraq and take note China…not sure why i chuckled when i read (that silver is gone forever as it is blown into a million pieces.never mind the poor bastards at the other end of the missile’s target)…good piece of writing silver shield…ah come lord Jesus

  • Bullion Bill

Not quite sure how poor those “poor bastards” are at the receiving end. Rumor has it they are mercenaries paid out of Qaddafi’s coffers stolen from the Libyan poor masses. Speaking of coffers, heard there’s around 7 billion dollars of gold stashed by Qaddafi. Maybe the 3 tons of silver could end up freeing of some serious gold. Up until now, Qaddafi was among the elite, adored by others who loved his oil more than “his” people. Now however, the last of his riches under his control (the pile of gold) may go to lucky ones who intercept his camel caravan trying to get away.

    Hi Silver Shield,
Great article, but also sets a worrying tone. In his awesome book, Jesse Livermore describes how the US Govt changed the rules once he had cornered the coffee market.
Seeing how vital silver is to the military industrial complex, I worry that some rule changes/confiscation might also occur in the silver market-what has happened before can/will happen again….

    • Silver Shield

I would not put it past .gov to confiscate silver but I think first they will have the problem of a dollar collapse on their hands which will make much more serious issues on their plate.

Second if they do confiscate they will go after the big boys first. CRIMEX, SLV, Sprott?, and any domestic mines. This is why I recommend physical silver in your possession. I cannot see swat teams going door to door trying to get a couple hundred ounces from gun owning, former military guys who distrust the government only to find out that their silver was lost years before in a boating accident.

I would treat a government that would confiscate our silver as tough as a government that would confiscate our guns. That would be a line in the sand for me. If they want to fool people into slavery that is one thing. If they force me into chains that is not a life I would want for me or especially my children.

We have a looooong way to go before we get to any Red Dawn scenario. Just keep stacking.

  • CausticGnostic

I highly doubt there will be confiscation of Silver.. less than 1% of the population here has any. I think a more likely scenario would be government seizing mining companies and setting price controls on Silver. Either way it would be very messy.

  • Bill

Boating accident… that is exactly what happened to mine…

  • Bill

I would suppose a computer would have more than 1/10 oz of silver in it. I think it’s closer to 1/2 to 1 oz.

  • Gino

What makes you think that a guy writing a blog for the Australian Bullion Company has any idea how much Silver is in a cruise missile. He is no authority on the subject and does not substantiate his claim. I have found nothing to support this 15kg of silver per missile. In fact, I have seen other references claiming 60oz.

How about some serious researching for a serious topic?

    • Silver Shield

I just sent an email to Raytheon to see if they would let me know or even if they do know?
Let’s see what they come back with.

  • Listen here.. Silver I could never see as being confiscated..Bt they will confiscate the paper silver-dollar (etfs,etccc)..Plus who in they right mind will give up any gold or silver to these parasitic bloodsuckers..Not I…Period..

Silver is the metal of a lifetime..there is nothing more precious and nothing more fundamentally in a situation of huge future boooooomage..sending the price in to the upper 100’s if not future 1000’s..

    one day-one oz = 100 soon after 1oz will = 500 etc..on n on

  • lastmanstanding

Saving silver or having it in your possession is no different than having it in a bank…EXCEPT that it is in your COMPLETE CONTROL…AWAY FROM THE ELITES GRUBBY LITTLE PAWS…THEY MAY HAVE TO WORK!!!TO GET IT.

SS,I’m with you on the guns/silver issue…always have been. Everyone needs to consider that stance.

  • Dave

It would be good to get confirming info on the actual weight of silver. In a no expense spared million dollar missile I could see:

high temp wiring, solder, contacts, engine bearings, heat sinks, batteries with backup for radar and for cooling infrared sensors.

Batteries may be lighter and more reliable than an on-board wind generator.

  • Bill

Probably no one knows for sure how much silver is in a missile because the cost is lost as smaller components come together into larger ones. There is really no need to track how much silver is in a subcomputer if you just pay x for that component. I don’t know, solder, relays, contacts — I don’t think we are off by a factor of 10.

    The number seems believable.

  • MIKE

Love the Silver Shields commentary and plan on buying some of the cd’s on his site. As for Silver confiscation, THEY can have it when they pry my cold dead fingers off my ak 47!

  • Gino

Good job. It will certainly be interesting to see if they know and will tell you.

I see the Silver Futurist (the ADHD Silver Video Guy) is quoting the same article from maxkeiser.com and this article on 15Kg per cruise missile. It is amazing to see how unfounded rumours can spread with all the best intentions.

Keep it up. You know what I mean.

  • Earl Larsen

This is a beautifully informative article.and while my protection is not a 47 it is just as effective and I know how to use it. Lets all hang together and they can’t beat our kind of people. Hang tight and work to get our government straightend out and then we will some day be o.k.

  • Tim

This article is complete conjecture. There is no way for anyone to know how much silver is contained in a tomahawk cruise missile. Unless of course you are involved in the design or manufacture of said missiles.

Silver Shield your source for this information is complete crap. Some random person mentioned on their blog that there is 15Kg of silver contained in every tomahawk cruise missile. It must be true!

There is nothing to back up anyones claims of the silver contained within these missiles. Is anyone else seeing how stupid this is?

    • Silver Shield

I have two emails into Raytheon to see if it is true or even if they know. I certainly don’t think 500 Oz or 34 lbs of silver is ridiculous in a 3,000 lb high-tech weapon like the Tomahawk. Most of the silver is supposedly in a silver oxide battery and wiring. If you have ever held a monster box it is about the size of a battery.

  • Tim

PS. I’ve posted similar comments over at maxkeiser.com, questioning this statistic and not one has been posted. My comments are ” awaiting moderation.” even after other comments are allowed to be posted.

I guess Max Keiser and crew don’t mind trumping up a little false data to help prove their point that silver is a good investment. What a bunch of crap.

BTW I am pro silver, I just see no point in hyping it up is such a stupid manner.

  • Tim

Also the 1/10 ounce of silver in each Apple computer? What do people think that manufacturers just throw chunks of silver into their products? How much of it is spread out around all the circuit boards and wires?

And how much of these components are purchased from other manufacturers.

Apple stocking up on silver would make no sense. You would have to assume that they make every component in their computers themselves. Which they don’t. And which again is a stupid assumption.

  • Silver Shield

I have been told it is more than a 1/10th of an ounce but whatever. If there is a run on silver corporations will stock up commodities to ensure their products are produced.

  • fred

The point is he does not source the claim about the amount of silver in a missle- that makes the whole article CRAP!!!!!

  • AndyB

Unfortunately, my ex-wife took all of my bullion before she ran off with a Hell’s Angel biker who also trained white militia movements in Alaska while setting up a KKK chapter affiliated with an infiltrator of the Muslim Brotherhood. Lotsa leads for the Feds, or will it be the deviants from TSA?

  • Bill

The actual number is probably not available since it is not tracked. You MAY know how much silver solder goes into a circuit board but why would you tally the silver going in? Or why would you track the silver in a relay? You can only estimate. I heard 1oz from George Green in a computer. I think it’s too much and I don’t think 1/10 is enough so now my estimate is (1 + 1/10) / 2 in a computer. Call it 1/2 oz.

  • Bill Getas

Tim is shill. It doesn’t matter HOW MUCH silver goes in — SOME SILVER GOES IN. No matter how much, it dwindles the finite supply and will eventually deplete it, causing rising prices all along the way.

  • Ag Rising

Let’s assume the number of Ag ounces in a Tomahawk isn’t exact. Who cares? How many tonnes of silver batteries are in the U.S. submarine fleet? And other fleets? The theme’s the same. JPM now has a Crimex vault, so it can deliver but not deliver. Crimex raised long margin this week. Cash settlement is taking place with unpublished premiums. The Crimex bid you see is less than the ultimate settlement with fiat instead of physical. States have pending legislation fostering metals satisfaction of taxes in lieu of paper.

  • Ag Rising

One more item about this topic: our U.S. strategic metals inventory was gutted some time ago. Silver was sent to the U.S. Mint. Today, you have no strategic silver inventory, and neither Congress nor the executive branch is addressing this issue by introducing legislation to acquire strategic supply. Meanwhile, our chief nemesis, China, has an active acquisition program. In a word, the U.S. is FUBAR.

  • harley hooch

The guideance system and the precious metals are why the missles cost so much money. I really would not doubt that all the wiring is silver. They spare no costs in making sure the missles work and do not fail.
We can blog all day but until we stand up and stop the elites nothing will change. It will only keep getting worse. If the founders acted like present americans do there never would have been an America.Right now they are watching us and they are utterally digusted with us.
It is unbeleivable what they have done to America and americans and we just set here like a bunch of STUPID ASSES AND LET THEM DESTROY OUR COUNTRY. PRESIDENT THOMAS JEFFERSON YOU WERE RIGHT AND WE DESERVE WHAT HAPPENS TO US FOR BEING A BUNCH OF IGNORANT SHEEP.May GOD have mercy on our souls.

  • Jay

Check out my latest post towards the end I mention Silver blasting the Libyans.
I don’t remember where I got the info re how much Silver goes into a Tomahawk and I don’t spend my precious time hacking it out with non believers.I just own all the Silver I can afford and since my Charmin is worth more than my $100 TRILLION Zimbabwean Bank note I’ll just keep on looking forward to the days when Silver will be as valuable as Gold.

Get some dimes man !You will need them.

  • Jay

Most of the guys blabbing about verification of how much Silver used in missiles don’t know jack about the Smoky Mountains stash either.I could go on about Silver like Bubba went on about Shrimp in Forest Gump.

    It goes like this,

“It may be better to keep your mouth closed and appear a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.”

    • Gabe

me talking about silver is like bubba talkn about shrimp…….LOL I hope you dont mind I’m gonna steal that one and pass it off like I made it up.

  • Bob

Asking for verification is good. Otherwise it’s propaganda/yellow journalism in the opposite direction and we don’t want that, right. The truth is needed to keep the American experiment alive and well.

Besides, it’s safe to assume that 99% of us who read this site and others similar to it are the “choir”, the greater majority out there know and feel something ain’t right, and they respect and want honest facts to help answer their questions and solve their problems.

We should all hold ourselves to higher standards if we want to help affect the needed change in the economy and elsewhere.

    +++

The facts are that silver is an industrial necessity: electronics, high-tech, low-tech (washing machines, microwave ovens), solar panels, clothing, medicine, jewelry, silverware, investment, and more… And in most cases it’s not replaceable or easily (or profitably) recoverable.

Blowing up computerized bombs counts as non-recoverable.

Now you could write a similar article using educated guesses and stating such. But when you use specific numbers you have to be able to justify it.

  • Silver Shield

I agree. I will edit this today to reflect that. I saw three articles using the same number and it had a ring of truth to it. No answer from Raytheon but I am sure I am now on some watch list…

  • Mark

Regarding computer manufacturers stockpiling silver, it was pointed out on another site that even if they contain 1/10 oz of silver per machine and even if the price raised significantly, the value of the silver is still small compared to the price of the product and for the foreseeable future the price of silver will not be limiting.

Regarding silver confiscation, I agree that it is unlikely that anyone will go door to door. However, I doubt assets of SLV (ETFs or other “paper silver) will be seized because I doubt SLV has much physical silver. I think it may become hard/impossible/illegal to buy physical and the only option will be to buy “paper” silver. These latter assets are easy to confiscate by current methods; ie inflation or aggressively by future methods; ie hyperinflation and currency revaluation/new currency creation.

Keep up the good work SS!

  • Aussie Mick

Love your work SS…I am pouring every cent into silver…all my eggs are in one basket…whatever it takes to crash JP…I have got dozens of others buying silver…people power/silver power..promote silver at every opportunity to everyone you know and meet..it works..stop the criminal bankers and protect your wealth at the same time. Take your business away from the criminal bankers..starve ’em out…they are doing it to you…M.

  • Tony

    BooYa……

  • Tom

Your numbers are so wrong it discredits the entire Sons of Liberty project. Max Kaiser (your source) has NO idea how much silver is in one Tomahawk. 500 ounces is over 31 POUNDS of solder and wiring. Do you have ANY idea how many FEET of microcircuit wiring you can produce with just a 1/10th of an ounce??

You have a lot of good things to say, but it gets lost in your mad rush to be the most hyperbolic kid on the block. Slow down, check your sources, don’t publish crazy unverified data, and hire a someone to spell check.

Sorry, I’ll have to un-recommend you to the friends I initially introduced to your project.

    Cordially,
    Tom

  • olgriz

OK Tom. So what idea or thought line are you going to pursue now? Does it really matter if the knife blade that cut your throat was 4in vs 14in. I think not. Me thinks you spend too much time swallowing camels and straining at gnats to see the big picture. Peace and success in your new ventures.

  • Jimmy

It has been several years ago now but somewhere around 05 or 06 There was a special on the History Channel about how they make a cruse missle and the one that they used on Iraq. Then they said that every missle has to have 1500 hunreded oz of Silver for them to work. Then a couple of years ago around 2010 they showed an updated version and siad that they only use 1000 oz per missle. I know what i saw and that the History Channel well help you look the viedo up for you. Good Luck to all.

    • Silver Shield

      Please find that.
I took a lot of flak for this article because the source I go the info from did not have a source…
