How likely is the Empire to welcome Au/Ag standard?

In 2009 Anglo-American empire (I added Peru and S. Africa to this camp) produced 61% of official global gold. In 2011 Anglo-American empire (with countries like Morocco and Papua New Guinea counted in this camp) produced 58% of global silver.

What I see here is that the Empire does not control anywhere near 100% of either metal. These numbers tell me:

We’ll ride the oil and oil-tied fiat train until it stops.

Then we’ll switch to bombs to grab whatever we can.

Then we’ll sort through our loot and see what it is that we are the world’s largest holders of: gold? rubies? copper? timber? pebbles?

We’ll make it our new currency.

Until then, oil works just fine for us.

The empire can go f**k itself, I am saving my wealth in Ag.

Remember Paul, there are four types of precious metal. Gold, silver, lead and brass. The lead and brass insure that you can keep your gold and silver.

Yeah you need lead and brass balls to hold and add to your gold and silver through these 1 year plus corrections.

Exactly. The power elite call the shots. Silver prices controlled. Oil controlled. Media controlled. Medicated lazy comfortable Americans controlled. Foreign elite a problem. Awake Americans a problem. Gods power a problem!
