LOL Celente

After getting burned trading paper gold with the MF Global scandal, Gerald Celente has started something else… sound familiar?

Below is an email from a former Trends Journal subscriber that has recently joined our group.

Celente Launches 2nd American Revolution: Puts His Money Where His Heart Is

KINGSTON, NY, 29 June 2012 — Even though your subscription to The Trends Journal has expired, we wanted to alert you to a major development that may be of interest to you.

As the world’s economy faces a repeat performance of the “Panic of 08” and spasms of geopolitical turmoil unseen in modern times, America, despite it’s many grave problems, is still seen abroad as the Superpower with the best potential to address and manage the myriad crises.

The Hegelian Dialectic From the Sons of Liberty Academy

But America 2012 is not the America it used to be. Given a Presidential ticket of Obama vs. Romney, we can forecast, with 100 percent confidence, that whoever wins, the policies they initiate will do nothing to solve current problems and will, in all likelihood, exacerbate them.

This is not a popular view amongst the public or the press.

Most Americans, respect the office of the President, regardless of their track records. And regardless of party, they expect the candidate of their choice to affect positive change.

The mainstream media reinforce that belief, even as it reduces the race for the White House to a made-for-TV spectacle: “The Presidential Reality Show.” And they perpetuate the myth that career politicians are of a higher intellectual, spiritual and moral order then the rest of us and know best how to tackle any problem thrown at them. They are the “lawmakers.” They are the “leaders.”

To us, at The Trends Journal, this is infantile, delusional, and destructive propaganda. The front page headlines of every major newspaper in the country reveal that the American political system is dysfunctional and corrupt beyond repair.

The only route to a more peaceful and prosperous America, as we see it, is through a Revolution. Gerald Celente believes that the time for the 2nd American Revolution is now!

Rather than just promote the idea, or even enlist to join the fight, this American Patriot has established a Revolutionary headquarters.

Inspired by its potent symbolic value, Celente has purchased the 1750s “Franz Roggen House,” a stately stone colonial set on the northeast corner of John and Crown Streets, in Kingston’s historic Stockade District. This is the only intersection in the United States that boasts pre-revolutionary stone buildings on all four corners.

“Kingston played a critical role in the 1st American Revolution and was, for a short while, the capital of New York State,” observes Celente. “Here is where I’m taking my stand to start the 2nd American Revolution.”

“The 1st American Revolution was fought with armies and bullets,” says Celente. “The 2nd American Revolution will not cost lives and limbs; it will be fought with mind and spirit.”

Celente is unequivocal: “America’s democratic political system is degenerate, corrupt and ineffective. It cannot be patched up or papered over. Rather, it must be renewed, revived, and reconfigured from the ground up,” he says. “The potential for positive and sweeping change is there. It can happen, but it has to be made to happen.”

How? First, “We the people” must be made aware of the urgent need for real change. Then “we” must learn to accept and embrace the concept of a full-scale intellectual revolution. “The time is ripe, Americans are ‘mad as hell and not going to take it anymore,’” says Celente, who predicts that the November election will be the turning point. “The polls prove it. There is little enthusiasm for either candidate and, once again, Americans will be left with no choice other than the choice of the lesser of two evils.

“Stay Home, Don’t Vote!”

(My video from last week…)

Celente’s Revolutionary call to action begins with a voter’s strike. “Stay Home, Don’t Vote” is his campaign slogan. “People have been conned into believing that if you don’t vote you’ve lost the right to complain. That’s political baloney,” fumes Celente.

(Another one from two week’s ago…)

“The true case is exactly the opposite. This is a two-headed, one party system. Republican or Democrat, considering their track records, it’s clear nothing can be expected from either Presidential candidate other than the perpetuation of the destructive and criminal policies that have brought America to its current state of perpetual crisis and socioeconomic decline. Ditto for Congress.”

“What self-respecting person would cast a vote for a lesser of two evils?” asks Celente. “Not only is it immoral and undignified, it’s destructive. Lesser or greater, evil is evil. By supporting one evil or the other, the voter becomes an accessory to the crime. Only a true intellectual/moral revolution can restore dignity, trust, decency and compassion.”

“Anything else is just more of the same. Stay Home, Don’t Vote!” Celente contends that if less than 40 percent of the nation’s eligible voters go to the polls, the election should be considered invalid. “It would prove, in stark terms, that ‘none of the above’ was more popular than either Obama or Romney. And the people will be in a position to demand a fresh slate of candidates that more closely represent their needs and interests.”

As far as Celente is concerned, “We can change course, restore our country and regain our independence. United, the American people have the power to prevail and create ‘a more perfect Union.’ ”

These are critical times and preserving the status quo will prove the most dangerous policy of all. If you agree with our analysis of the present state of the nation and the measures required to help inspire a Revolution that will lead to a Renaissance future, you may want to renew your subscription.

No matter where you’re from or where you live, as history demonstrates, when America changes, for either better or worse, much of the world changes with it. The first American Revolution was the spark that set the world on the path to democracy. And the 2nd American Revolution could be the spark that reignites the will to restore the democratic principles that have been lost.

  • I guess I must be ahead of the curve. I voted in the last election out of spite, and for the congress that said it would change the direction of the nation. SEEMED TO WORK FOR A bit. Polosie lost the house, and then it was right back to business as usual. Since I haven’t voted since Goldwater, I will be back to letting the Marching Morons have their way.Abandon hope all yee who enter here!I have my ten acres and supplies for a while. GOOD luck to us all.

  • I like Gerald Celente, I perceive him as sincere when he states, “think for yourself”.

I don’t always agree with him though. I’ve watched him go from $CAN, swiss fr, and gold to swiss fr and gold, to finally just gold. Not sure how much is ‘paper’ gold though?

He’s now reasoning that the house prices have hit the trough – I’m not sure about that one either.

He’s certainly got a presence and therefore a ‘role’ in this ‘awakening’ process.

    Peace

Mr. Celente says, “The 1st American Revolution was fought with armies and bullets…The 2nd American Revolution will not cost lives and limbs; it will be fought with mind and spirit,” and he has purchased the 1750s “Franz Roggen House.” For as much as I have appreciated some of his insights in the past, I think there will be bullets, and possibly armies, and his choice of locale is frightening. It’s time to walk away.

I do believe I saw clips of EVE Online at the end of your ‘vote for silver 2012’ clip. Only fellow EVE geeks would catch that. I used it to escape from the realities during my denial stage…

I don’t think it is fair to characterize Gerald as trading paper prior to his loss. He has made it clear he was using a futures contract to buy his metal on the installment plan. That said, his patter becomes tiring to hear and it seems as though he is not one to think outside his box. In some ways I see justice here. A year ago, Max Kieser, was promoting the silver liberation army to crash J.P. Morgan. Gerald tries to buy gold instead and J.P. winds up with 30% of his cash. Maybe he should have teemed up with Max, huh?
