“We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be killed and forgotten. But four hundred years later an idea can still change the world. I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of ideas. I’ve seen people kill in the name of them; and die defending them. But you cannot touch an idea, cannot hold it or kiss it. An idea does not bleed, it cannot feel pain, and it does not love. – V for Vendetta
We are gathered here today based off of an idea. This one idea that we all hold self evident. We believe that, as John F Kennedy once said, “[man] is born to be…free and independent”. We all understand the problem, or at the very least are here to learn the sources of the problem, and we all understand that we now have created a “conscious solution to a collectivist problem”.
However I have recently heard a lot of people talking about silver, or guns, or ammunition, or community, or even homesteading, as if it’s the ultimate solution to this problem. But what we need to come to understand is that these are only small parts of a greater idea.
In order for this idea that we all believe in to come to fruition, we have to go through a life style change, but also more than this, we must go through a change within ourselves. We must die as the Phoenix and be reborn as a new free person.
We stand here on the precipice of a great change in human society, and are about to enter a time when this idea that lives inside us all will become more than just an idea, buta reality, and we must remember that what we hold is an idea that can never die or be destroyed. But in order for it to come to its full realization we must act, make the decision today.
Free yourself so that the world can be free. – Chris Duane
