Chris, this video speaks volumes for what we face right now. There are many, like you said, that are being goaded into fighting against the system head on in some nostalgic memory of the past. We truly live in a different world now. Humanity has been fighting fire with fire for centuries and it has only lead us to an escalation of destruction and bloodshed. Let them pass as many laws as they want. What if no one listened and just walked away. I’m not sure what you have planned next in your series of sbss coins. Perhaps you should do a peace/unity coin. The more they try to divide us the weaker we all are.

Hey Chris, thanks for staying on top of these events. Your words do wonders to keep us calm and focused. It is so easy to get sucked into these political pissing contests, and its nice to have someone there reminding us to ignore them and walk our own path. Thanks again.

    Very good.

To all: Be very careful with who you align yourself with out there. There is a whole movement that is “awake” but on a whole different level. Most of them would be classified as 3 percenters. I get it. I get thdir cause> I get their anger but to go make a YouTube video about “sfiring the first shot” and falling into their trap. You are setting yourself up for failure.

I get it, it makes people angry. We are constantly being poked and poked and poked. But you have to rise above it. It truly is a war of the minds, as Chris and Kerry stated, a war of the conciousnesses. Is that even a word?

Anyhow. You cannot fall for their schemes. This is what they want you to do! I think a lot of people are being goaded into this fight. People think that they are going to be the “insurgants” and the “rebels” who take on federal forces or whoever. I often think one of the biggest mistakes these people make is underestimating their opponent. Do they realize what type of firepower and weaponry federal forces have in their arsenal? Maybe even stuff we have not seen before. Then again, with a collapse who knows what will happen? Who will fight and who will stay within the military and LEO forces? No one can say.

You both talk about an opposite conciousness and that is EXACTLY what is needed….my fear is…it’s a lot easier to pull a trigger than to get someone to see an opposite conciousness. It really is. People see what they want to see. It’s hard to pry open those minds.

I pray that I am wrong.

Good points, but human beings have every right to defend themselves. Showing even limited resistance – such as self defense – allows the government to smash a fly with a sledge hammer. Such over reaction causes even the majority to denounce the government reaction. Look at the Ruby Ridge incident. Federal agents trespassed without a warrant, didnt identify themselves as federal officers. The land owner, his son and friend went to investigate, and were armed. Fire fight erupts,a federal agent is killed, an unarmed female, and infant is murdered by fed officers, the land owners son is shot in the back. In the end, the land owner isn’t charged in the killing of fed officer. Him and his servicing daughter are actually awarded money from govt.

The next cases is Waco. The govt over reacted again, thus deligitimizing their actions.

Compare these two to the muderous action of McVeigh and is bombing.

There is some cognitive dissonance going on here. Many colonists were talking about walking away (non-compliance to British rule) in 1775, and were forced to defend themselves in 1776 after an attack by the British in response to the Declaration of Independence. Fast forward to today, and there are striking similarities. Many have spoken about guns being their line in the sand. Many are talking about not giving up their guns, even when they come to take them. Some talk about initiating the revolution, some talk about waiting for them to come. I hear many online vacillating between these two stances. I think the reason is that this is an extremely difficult question to answer, and maybe there is no right answer. Ghandi or George Washington? I think that anybody who says they have the absolute answer a-priori is not being truthful, or at least, it is an answer that suits their situation.
I think the answer is you need to be realistic. If you are just some bloke with a handgun, no training, living in a suburb, don’t even think about resisting a SWAT team armed with carbines and tanks. It is much smarter to turn them in and live to walk away. If you are a prepped member of a militia with training out in the country, you might have a chance for a while. Anything past that is pure speculation.
“The answer to 1984 is 1776.” This phrase was coined by Alex Jones. He does not advocate firing the first shot, rather he advocates the spirit of 1776 and being aware of what is happening. My hope is that enough people will become awake and of the opposite consciousness so that an open war does not need to take place.

  • The “Second American Civil War” would end very badly for all Americans, most likely with foreign and/or UN troops on American soil. The criminals-that-be want to shift the military industrial complex from west to east, and have been doing exactly that under the guise of “free trade” since at least the mid 90s.

One answer to 1984/Brave New World is a lawful, oathkeeping, Sherrif in YOUR county, sorry Connecticut, might want to get a petition started to reinstate that office. Fully informed juries and peaceful revocation of consent would go a long way too.

And when that does not work? When “just walking away” does not work? When they still push, shove, tazer, shoot and trample your natural liberties as a sovereign human being? When all the posturing of non-violent resistance fails? When your friends and family are interned? Then what?

Do I want a show down between the usurpers of the constitution and tyrants? No, by no means. But today is no different than 1775! Patrick Henry’s speech rings even more true today than then. The violations and injustice, the trampling of natural liberties guaranteed not by a government but by your creator occur even more so today.

That day of peaceful disobedience may have come and passed with no other option but armed resistance. The exact purpose of the second amendment. Not to rebel but to preserve or restore liberty. Note I did not say preserve the republic because it has been gone for a long time.

The die may have been already cast and we have no choice but to fight even it is 1 million Lexingtons and Concords!

It will not be equally bad, everywhere, all at once.

People in the country will not be dealing with Bloombergs swat teams, security cameras, or taxes. It you are in a urban area have fun resisting tyranny when you have no choice. Agressive, narcissistic, collectivist, debt slaves will riot when the dollar collapses. Local oligarchs like Bloomberg will full blow tyranny to maintain his fiefdom. Look no further than Katrina at what a collapse police state looks like.

I am telling people to leave toxic thoughts, toxic people, toxic assets and toxic careers behind now while you still have an opportunity.

Walk away now. For taxes. For lower cost of living. For better polite caring people. For more land. For healthier food. For less stress. For more freedom. Vote with your feet.

The rest of the country will react to the collapse much like when the Mississippi floods, neighbor helping neighbor.

These people will not let the mayhem of urban tyranny spill over into their lives. They will legislate more freedom, lower taxes, and a clear intellectual divide.

        • Silver Eagle

Galt’s Gulch doesn’t exist. We have two choices submit and be a slave or fight and be free. The Free State Project should be reintroduced, but had it been fulfilled ten years ago there would be a place to go for the very things you are seeking.

  • Value for value. No injured party, no crime. Current consciousness holds mountains of un-understandable “codes” up as laws, gaining your consent to contract through deceit and lies of omission.

Mass Media still has a grip on the millions of people. Jones did wake me up to the left vs right paradigm. No one technique or delivery of truths is best.
Violence is wrong, Natural Law of Self-Defence is a given. Pulling money out of banks, not eating corporate food, working on your little circle of influence with love and care does help. The marine on CNN who wrote the letter to Feinstein handled himself with dignity and honor. Common sense and his truth came through.

Wow. I can’t believe my comment didn’t make it past the censors last night. Not really sure you realize what DTOM actually means.

    • Are you refering to this comment?

Chris, with respect for your depth of understanding; your delivery in Congress was a monotone bore again. I doubt they remember a word you read. GET SOME FIRE in your DELIVERY! Get some FEELING in your GUT! Release controlled PASSION! Someone has quenched your emotions! Be human. Let them out! God intended you to be an EMOTIONAL BEING–not a damned book report.

  • Marvin Motsenbocker

    Thank you Chris.
    two comments:

    1. “just walk away” we dont need to discuss pro’s and cons of anything anymore, but just leave tracks. Why all this discussion about influencing the government etc. what to do about guns etc.

    2. Most people dont realize how profound the ongoing change will be. “the most important event in human history will be collapse of the US dollar…..etc” because it is worldwide. that you mention often: this is analogous to the end of the Roman Empire. This is not something that will be tweaked by writing a letter to your congressman or voting or even armed insurrection. Instead, this WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A TYPE OF DARK AGES.

I think that we need to immediately shut down and stop arguing/engaging with others and instead build our modern day equivalents of monasteries. My take on this as a scientist is that the role/nature of science has profoundly changed. The easy to get advances that led to electric motors, electric power, heat engines, radio, TV, microwaves, rockets, air travel, computers, plastics etc. have been made.
Science has a new role going forward. We need to teach the history of science and the objectivitity and modesty/self effacing spirit as a basis of the community. Use the internet as a profound tool to gather all information discovered through the ages, and build locally resilient communities. Any time and energy arguing about gun-packing angels dancing on the heads of pins is just wasted time. In my opinion any time and energy that is not devoted to the new science based monastery resiliant communities(self sufficient food/energy) is wasted. We dont need grow and nuture banksters and psychopath managed national organizations by confronting them and providing them reasons to grow etc. Fighting them or “improving the government” merely validates their existance. We dont need them and they need us. They will wither only if we walk away and leave them alone with their Hegelian logic and mystical angels on pinheads……….. in my opinion.

    no government shall ever borrow.

got to give this one to you Chris.
You are on a whole new level I can only imagine.

when I get some victim to hold my battered Silver dollar and tell em the story of the danari to the dime to the minimum wage for 2/3′s of the world, then I mix in how the world is 80% water, 90% of all trade is on that water and 100% is policed by the USNavy and why minimum wage here buys 60 days of living in 2/3′s of the world… I have to defend myself. if there is not the response of humor or familiarity with concepts of this story there IS SERIOUS hammering on folks reality and they kind of turn into Neo when he saw the ‘real’ world.

it is this chipping I see as my contribution toward the change of consciousness.

    Chris – you are inspiration

A friend sent this. I understand frustration that might drive one to want to escape to a rural area and be around more like-minded individuals [the grass is always greener elsewhere] but the more press it or something like it gets, the less safe it would be in my opinion. Leaving family, solid friends, and familiar area to join a “defiant” commune also doesn’t sound like a solution to me.

Way to put a spotlight on yourself.

On the front of the Drudge Report before they even break ground.

I wonder how many Ann Barnhardts or Alex Jones will be attracted to live there.

I believe decentralized hunker down with friends and family outside of major urban areas and blue state collectivists, is the best course of action.

    • MoreLiberty

My post wasn’t about moving away or joining any like minded groups. My point was that human beings have a right to defend themselves. Additionally, defending ones self is significantly different when compared to offensive actions such as the murderer McViegh.

“I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.”(Ezekiel 38:21)
I oppose any bloodshed but I fear civil war in some form is coming.

The answer to 1984 is not 1776, YET!! That is what the title should read. It is very possible that at some point the only option left will be a 1776 style revolution. The info war must turn into a revolution if fellow citizens are being killed over gun confiscation. It’s not time for a revolution but that option remains on the table.

  • Andy Allen

Everyone should just “keep calm and slave on.”
Cognitive dissonance no doubt, Mark K had it right, it is the spirit of 1776 that Alex jones speaks of not firing the first shot! And what ever happened to passion? Maybe it’s not anger but passion, everyone seems to love it when ray Lewis gets going in the pregame, God forbid anyone get excited and show passion or even anger about our rights being taken away and defending the constitution!!
