So I was messing around with an idea for a logo for The Greatest Truth Never Told and I came up with this.
I think the idea of the Trivium freeing your mind and the Constitution freeing a society is very powerful.
While that is a part of the project it is really going to be divided into the 5 Stages of the Awakening; Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. I think I will have to work on something that brings that element into the logo.
The project is coming along nicely and I am about half way done with the Denial section. The sound is great after many suggestions to improve the sound. The content is second to none. The visual elements are definitely going to be fun to do. This will be my last best attempt at this on my own. I hope when this is done I could maybe get some professional help to make this into even a bigger project.
1. A logo should be easy to reproduce. It should be simple and attractive. It’s hard to reproduce all words in the current logo.
2. A logo should be reproducible at different sizes with no loss of integrity. If current logo is reduced in size, words will be lost or will turn the whole image into a grayscale mess.
3. A logo should have one layer. Text can be above, below, beside, but no directly over the graphic element.
4. Text in the logo should be readable, no matter how the logo is resized. Artistic font of the text part will be distorted at small size, especially if you ever need to print it in physical world.
With the above in mind, a few other variants may be worth your consideration:
- no tiny grey words inside the graphic
- clearer font for the main black text
- main black text moved around so as not to obscure the graphic
Personal note:
The graphic part sends me a message of something esoteric and Aleister Crowley-ish. It looks very cool, no doubt, but does it suit the message / spirit / purpose of the organization?
No; Chris
Your logo idea incorporates the 666 conceit used by Marilyn Ferguson on cover of ‘The Aquarian Conspiracy’.
If you need a good idea, let me know.
John Paul Jones’ symbol (circle over three interlocking ovals) was found in a book of runes and purportedly represents a person who is both confident and competent.
Led Zeppelin is my favorite all time band and I like the meaning behind that symbol.
No, don’t like the logo. Its a bit ‘secret society’ or even ‘mystic’ for my liking.
My suggestion would be to meet with at least 2 or 3 professional graphic-designers (on separate occasions) and / or artists and thrash something out between yourselves – incorporating and developing the best ideas and throwing out the bad.
You could even hold a competition for entries (perhaps even at Colleges, in addition to this site – students love getting involved in this sort of thing as its great commercial experience, looks good in thier portfolio, and it would help spread the message too).
Good luck to you whatever you decide, but please bin the current design, it really won’t do you any favours.
Everything I have done is the opposite of “secret” or “mystic”, , so how do you make a symbol around that? A lighthouse or a torch would be OK, but they have been usurped by Enlighteners starting with Lucifer and Prometheus. Problem with them is they are both made by men to lead men who knows where.
Maybe something about shield and bullet (arrow)?
Then again, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon and Canon agree that no graphic symbol is a viable option too.
Wait, wait, wait a MINUTE! Is that the dreaded triangular pyramidal shape with the all seeing eye at the top!
Just kidding.
It’s actually a triquetra, an ancient symbol for the Trinity. It comprises three interwoven arcs, distinct yet equal and inseparable, symbolizing that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are three distinct yet equal persons and indivisibly One God. It’s Latin for 3 sides or 3 corners.
I like it. It does have a bit of a Celtic flair to it though. Look up the symbol for the Celtic Sun God Lugh. You might find something interesting.
I would agree, it’s hard to find a design that everyone would like….or one that people won’t “read into” when they look at it.
I personally like what you have shown us here; the celtic design and the trivium as well as the unalienable rights of man but ultimately this project is yours and being your gift to the world should bear the look and feel that you desire it to. Maybe a contest could give you something more eye catching and unique but to ALSO say as much as yours does?…I don’t know. I’m a simpleton trying to learn something from you but I can tell you what Rick Nelson said: “You can’t please everyone, so you got to please yourself.”
I think the logo is terrific on several fronts; any likeness to occult or religious symbols is fine – in fact – USEFUL:
1) Humans tend to FEAR the things they do not understand. Throughout history, mankind has feared God, feared Nature, feared Darkness, feared Death, etc.
2) Fear is a powerful motivating tool used by the elite to manage and manipulate the sheeple. For example, Americans have given up their civil liberties & are submitting to pat-downs, warrantless searches, body scans, etc because of the fear of terrorism. The elite could NEVER get away with this without the use of Fear to get the people to “freely” give up their Liberties in exchange for “security”.
3) By adopting a logo with the likeness of those occult and religious images, WE TAKE THE FEAR OUT of these symbols and instead USE it to represent Truth, Liberty and Freedom. We stop enabling the elite to manipulate us with these symbols. Instead, we are empowered by them. For example, if you had a fear of knives as a result of being a victim of assault by someone with a knife, you might experience Fear anytime you saw a knife, or encountered anyone holding a knife – regardless of whether you were being threatened or not. However, if you learned how to DEFEND yourself USING the knife, the knife would NO LONGER HOLD ANY THREAT. In fact, the knife could become a symbol of STRENGTH – indeed, salvation – once you have the skills to USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. Symbols are no different. As children, we learn to engage and conquer our fears through play. As adults, we need to engage and conquer our fears through understanding.
The cornerstone of the DTOM approach is to question all. We are encouraged to question the things we fear and do not understand, in order to receive enlightenment, to discover the Truth and TO LOSE OUR FEAR. If the trivium logo involks a sense of Fear or mystery, then I assert that the logo is DOING IT’S JOB. How apropo that to understand the logo you first have to look at all of the symbols and gain an understanding of them, thereby LOSING THE FEAR.
I find it curious that most of the comments on this site so far have been negative regarding the logo. I am questioning the negative comments in order to open up a better dialog regarding the symbology, in hopes that a greater understanding can be had by all.
Well Silver Shield, how about a SILVER SHIELD logo? Or perhaps a silver force-field logo? KISS.
You have to be careful with symbols/logo — the word logo is obviously close to the Gnostic logos (do a google search if interested) and the word logic, and the subconscious uses symbols as a language — at least TPTB are obsessed with symbols.
My intuition is for a circle with a 2-line (thick or double) cross at 45 degree angles. No dots, no words.
use what YOU feel is best. Most symbols have been used by good/bad/ugly through out history you can’t escape it. Most folks “in the choir” are theorist of one sort or another, you will get now here by “committee”. You made it this far on your own keep on keeping on.
Hey Chris,
Just wanted to take a moment out of my life to thank you for all the life changing decisions/events that have occurred because of the information you've brought to the forefront when I discovered you, DTOM, & the SOL academy.
I shunned the psychopaths in my life, closed my facebook, took every hour of free time to see the academy and read A LOT (a first for me), learned that I have a deep innate thirst for knowledge and teaching, jumped head first on topics I would have NEVER taken an interest in if not for waking up (finance, economics, politics, psychology, to name a few), and view everything in a completely different, but forward thinking and more intricate way.
What you say is so true ... "once your eyes are open, you can never close them again" - EVER.
The magnitude of all the changes that I've made in my life because of the SOL academy are so huge that I can't even begin to put a word on it. It's like a golden seed of life, love & truth, planted in my mind that is making me realize what does matter, what is real, and what I want be at the end of the day to myself, loved ones, and the world.
Hope you're having a well-deserved and wonderful time with your family. A toast to you, the individuals in our group, and all the great and positive things to come despite such times.
Peace.

You really need to sign up at the Sons Of Liberty Academy! I have been researching, as Chris has, for the last 5 years and have found out many things that have really changed my way of thinking! After signing up with Chris I have learned a lot more and he has vilified that which I have already learned!
Check it out!
He will BLOW your mind and secure your future! Chris Duane ROCKS!!!

I just finished the 10 modules of the Sons of Liberty Academy. I have never been so educated and aware, in such a short time.
I now have a game plan and see my role more clearly. It all makes sense.
It is very important to understand what is going on in our world and how to fight against it most effectively.
45 hours of video is a lot of information (I spend 3 weeks day and night, going through the course).
I would look for information on my own and it would take me a lot of time but to have it done and just to be able to build on that is great.
I do appreciate it to be free otherwise I would not be able to take it.
Thanks;
Raj

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you. I've been studying the Academy, about to start module 5.
The information I've observed to this point has opened my mind to new ideas, and also reaffirmed some beliefs I've always had. I feel a tremendous sense of confidence now, the fear is subsiding, and I'm excited to complete the Academy and find the direction I can take with my future, as well as my friends and family.
As Bill Hicks said, the next revolution will be a revolution of ideas. I'm glad to be a part of this program.
Many thanks,
Michael

"Silver Shield,
The Sons of Liberty Academy is really fantastic! I highly recommend the Academy and the hard work and dedication to the truth that Silver Shield has put forth for defenders of Freedom and Liberty.
The betrayal of the Tea Party loyalist is becoming evident. A rebellion is brewing day by day, and the Power Elite have every right to be very worried.
Awaken People don't be fooled again! Join the Academy.."

My only regret is that I did not have this knowledge 20 years ago. The Sons of Liberty Academy is truly life changing.
If anyone is on the fence about joining the Academy, I will tell them they are doing themselves, their family and the country a injustice by not taking it.
Don’t let the money stand in the way, the course is invaluable and will pay for it self many times over with the finance info within the course.
I have two masters degrees and the Sons of Liberty Academy has been of greater benefit than all the “formal” education I have received.
Thanks Chris! You are a true Patriot and hero! -Randy H.

"I am very excited about what I've learned so far! I have 3 more modules to complete. I've gone through a few of them twice, especially when there is history discussed. I find that very interesting. I am going to run through the entire Academy again, and review all the additional materials linked below the videos. There is so, so much information. Thank you for your hard work putting this together.
I am spreading the word."

"I have just finished watching Module Six and continue to be amazed at the deception perpetrated on the American people.
I applaud your work and thank you sincerely for these eye-opening truths you have laid out.
I never had an interest in politics or our monetary system because it seemed too confusing, however, the simple way it is taught in the Academy has far surpassed any education I have received in my 35 years on this earth."

"In just a few short months, I've gone from being a skeptic to being a believer.
I'm a born-again Christian, a veteran, and a patriot, but I'm also a realist.
I now prep and am protecting my assets.
DTOM has played a big part in my new education.
Heck, I love the T-shirts, too!
Thanks for doing a great job. Now I Get It!!!!"

Thank you for giving me the wisdom of awareness.
I have been sharing it with others, but there are so many more to reach. I am not afraid of the changes we will soon see, but confident that I am prepared to handle them. We are building a strong group here in my area and have shared your website with several key people of influence here.
Thank God I found you and took the time to go through the Academy. At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, my life will never be the same, and for that I am very grateful.
Looks good. A few notes:

I am sorry I don’t see 666 and that certainly was not the purpose.
I would love new ideas.
I think it looks good, but as you’re fully aware, Chris, aesthetics really isn’t my strong point
It’s cool but people will say you ripped off Led Zep.
John Paul Jones’ symbol (circle over three interlocking ovals) was found in a book of runes and purportedly represents a person who is both confident and competent.
Led Zeppelin is my favorite all time band and I like the meaning behind that symbol.
Not to be an empty bitter critic, I drew a sketch:
It’s quick, dynamic; it’s about insight, light, energy, speed of thought; easy to read, easy to clone. A bit too simple, but it’s a sketch, not a sale

It’s well known occultic simbol, consider that before you use that.

That is the problem with symbolism, any one can interpret it any way they want.
Everything I have done is the opposite of “secret” or “mystic”, so how do you make a symbol around that?
Probably no symbol at all…
I have already had one fellow volunteer his time as a professional designer, hopefully more will follow.

I agree, the first thing that came into my mind concerning the logo was the occult.
However, I do like the terminology.
