Adrian Rogers on Economy

  • You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the industrious out of it.
  • You don’t multiply wealth by dividing it.
  • Government cannot give anything to anybody that it doesn’t first take from somebody else.
  • Whenever somebody receives something without working for it, somebody else has to work for it without receiving.
  • The worst thing that can happen to a nation is for half of the people to get the idea they don’t have to work because somebody else will work for them, and the other half to get the idea that it does no good to work because they don’t get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

What a bunch of nonsense!None of these sentiments apply to the current economic depression around the world. What has any bankster or CEO worked for since 2008?What postive role has any of them played in global finance or trade? It must be nice to be able to go down to the Fed whenever you want and get a trillion dollars here,a trillion dollars there, for committing treason and bankrupting the entire world in the process. It must be nice to assume NO RISK on any investment. It must be nice to privatize all profits and socialize all liabilities. It must be nice to be Lucy with the football when the rest of the world is Charlie Brown. It must be nice to steal wealth from tomorrow to pay for your financial crimes of yesterday. It must be nice…

Apparently free market capitalism has been reduced to COMEX fraud,CFTC fraud, high frequnacy trading, fraudulent derivatives bundled as securitites backstopped by credit default swaps, perpetual bank bailouts, endless stimulus, usury free money, rampant speculation, captured regulatory agencies, currency swaps,US Treasury bond fraud, hundreds of trillions in unfunded liabilities, excessive bankster bonuses, outsourcing jobs while simultaneously destroying all paper currencies via inflation, and the general destruction of centuries old societal norms.

The global economy is imploding not because of the lassitude or sense of entitlement of the poor, but because evil men think that they can bend the immutable laws of the free market to their will to serve their insatiable greed.

This post is an insult to anybody who knows anything about economics and HOW THE FREE MARKET SHOULD FUNCTION.

What has any bankster or CEO worked for since 2008?

I read this list by Rogers as things that can physically be done, but shouldn’t, because it’s not wise to do them. His “cannot” is the same as in “you cannot stick your fingers into an AC outlet”.

This post is an insult to anybody who knows anything about economics

How is calling our situation unsustainable an insult etc?

    Mustafa,

Once again, I feel the need to defend you brother. I do not think that simply because you speak out against an undeniable and ever growing number of poor who do in fact feel an overwhelming entitlement to those things that they HAVE NOT EARNED,(deep breath here) that this somehow means you agree with the rigged game played out by the corrupt elitist who claim to be fostering capitalism and a free market. Everything you posted was entirely accurate and should not be misconstrued as your support for a bankster bailout program. How anyone can read your posts and derive that you are anti free market is beyond belief. Please keep up the good work.

Excellent observation Ragnar and I would wholeheartedly agree. I might also add that Mustfa has the “intellectual bullets” to defend himself.

Unless my radar is off, it might seem that Scott is a bit of a shill. The surname would seem to speak for itself. Or…..shit, perhaps I just need another beer.

Excellent stuff as always Mr. Cohen.

I’m with you on this one Mustafa. Your Adrian Rodgers quotes are moral, ethical and self evident. It’s just what’s so, and I think they have everything to do with the current economic depression around the world. The moral, ethical and cultural depression within western civilization today is not a coincidence. I don’t know why Mr. Wolf found it so objectionable. He sounds like the wall street ‘protestors’ who seen not to take any responsibility for their own lives while blaming their problems a free market system that was corrupted long, long ago and replaced with the state capitalist monopoly money imposter we have today.

    Mustafa,

My comments were not directed at you-I always enjoy your posts.I’m just tired of a system that now rewards crime and then demands that society pay for it.I always take responsibility for my actions, that’s not the point, but why do banksters get to operate with impunity, and why aren’t more people pissed off about it?

    Enjoy your weekend.

  • Mustafa Cohen

why do banksters get to operate with impunity

Every decent human is tired of this system, where by “decent” I mean “responsible for his decisions and letting everyone around succeed or fail through their decisions”.

The question is not even why (because they can). The question is How long before until they can’t and What should happen to make the situation absolutely intolerable for the critical mass of non-bankers.

I have several post on Don’t Tread On Me,too. Please check them out.My last one “12 Reasons Not To Fear September’s Gold And Silver Price Smackdown” sums up my feelings about the current state of affairs. It has already received over 4,000 hits,so people are reading it.

    Thanks

    P.S.

The answer to your question is the removal of the USDollar as the world’s resereve currency. This will occur within the next 10 years,it will be devastating and completely alter our nation.

Scott… do you think they can drag this out another 10 years? What’s coming is scary but I think it’s better sooner rather than later. I’ve been stacking heavy metals and making preperations for over 30 years and I don’t want to grow too old to offer a spirited resistance.

  • Aurochs

…and I’d kind of like to see what happens next. I tend to be pretty cynical and I’ve grown to have disdain and disgust for most of my fellow humans but my dream is to be wrong and see the silent majority of my countrymen rise up and throw the crooked bastards out and re-establish peace and honor in America. I’d like to see that before my time is up. 10 more years will be pushing it for me I think.

  • lastmanstanding

Mustafa is 100% correct on this one. I know alot of you cry and scream about corporate greed. Take advantage of it and target those folks wealth to add to your own.

It’s called work…starting a business…using you brain to use something until it’s gone…adapting to what is going on and survive.

50% of America is lazy and weak, NOT meek…In nature these people would be eliminated. They have given up and bought the socialist/progessive manta “oh poor you/me”

Mustafa simply told you the truth.

But for those of you movie buffs, a quote from Jack Nicholson from A Few Good Men…”you can’t handle the truth!”

For most people it is that simple…

  • Scott Wolf

    Aurochs,

You are the man.To answer your question, like you,I truly do not know. The depth these evil men will stoop to to continue their crimes a little longer is shocking.Removing the dollar as the world’s reserve currency will be a protracted event;however,it will not last forever, the free market always gets its way!You have been doing the right thing for 30 years and will be rewarded for your wisdom very soon.!!!

  • DAVID CRON

Adrian Rogers was a Southern Baptist preacher that died just a few years ago. He gave wise, grandfatherly advice interwoven throughout his sermons. His ministry, “Love Worth Finding” still airs on radio stations across the country. He was as solid as they come. He was the antithesis of the typical televangelist and offered nothing even remotely similar to the heaps of nonsense of most of what our society calls christian media. His council was practical and sound. The gospel he preached was pure and unadulterated. I still enjoy listening to him every morning on my local BOT radio network here in S.W. Missouri.
